COVID-19 Rules and Regulations

NNSW FUTSAL ASSOCIATION AND MEMBER CLUBS COVID 19 rules and requirements (subject to change as restrictions are lifted or added).

NNSW Futsal and its clubs will follow the following guidelines until further notice.

In line with the Public Health Orders and restrictions all members aged 16 and over will be required to be double-dose vaccinated in order to take part in our competitions and trials. Players under the age of 16 who are not fully vaccinated are allowed in the venues however must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated member of their household.

Here are the links to the 80% vaccination target and December easing of restrictions.

Hand sanitisers will be available at all our Centres.

• Players, Staff and Supporters will always be asked to follow strict hygiene measures.

o Making sure to clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub.

o Covering your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or a flexed elbow.

Staff will mostly be isolated behind a desk and will ensure social distancing 1.5 meters is being maintained around the centre if required at the time. Referees will also follow high hygiene procedures, and no one will go to work if they feel slightly sick. A face mask, although not compulsory is a good idea for staff, referees and supporters, especially at the more prominent centres.

Teams will be instructed to arrive for games 5 minutes before kick-off and not enter the venue before other groups exit. Teams finishing their games must not linger and exit the premises immediately, to allow time for the next group to enter.

Spectators to keep their social distance and any with flu like symptoms or travellers from overseas or hot spots will be asked to leave the premises.

Referee to keep match ball for the games and wipe down at the end of each game.

Limit of no more than 50 people per court, if the 1.5-metre distance is being upheld by spectators.

Limit of one supporter per player to be applied at all indoor centres that have requested this procedure.

Players must wear shin pads and at the end of the game no shaking hands, hugging etc.

Each player is to be checked off each game they play by the centre manager. Each centre should have a copy of this COVID 19 practise and be shown at each game. Each centre and school may also have their plan visible for all to see.

Spectators MUST use Covid sign in codes via their phones and if they don’t have put their name and contact number and the time they were there. An exercise pad would be made available for spectators to sign in. ALL RECORDS ARE TO BE KEPT FOR THE SEASON.

FINALLY, EACH SCHOOL AND EACH CENTRE WILL ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN RULES AND PRACTICES FOR THEIR BUSINESS. THIS MUST ALSO BE ADHERED TO AS WELL AS THE ABOVE.
