PREMIER State Futsal League.


The State Premier Futsal League (PFL) will involve at least six clubs in our six regions – Central Coast, Newcastle, Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, and Lakes /Awaba.

The Premier Futsal league has been introduced to give our Youth Junior Representatives players regular quality games. Representative teams of the ages 8,9,10,11,12 boys and 10,11,12 girls will be involved in a JDFL (Junior Futsal development league,) while 13,14,15, both boys and girls and girls, in an SYL (State Youth league ) . Players are invited from all clubs registered with NNSW Futsal. Newcastle Steelers, Macquarie Sharks, Central Coast Lightning, Port Stephens Dolphins, AFC Awaba and Hunter Valley Storm to participate in a Sunday program to help develop players and to help choose a representative State team or two to go to the Club Nationals held each year in January. It will also lead to the senior Futsal National State League Competition (NSL) held yearly for senior players, men and women.

The maximum number of teams allowed at each age is 10.

They will play up to 10 rounds in a competition, then a grand final Top 2. Club coaches and centre managers/coaches will be acquired to be at home games and help teach and develop players.

Players will be chosen OR nominated by their club over the period in July / August and submitted to NNSW Futsal before September 1st September each year.

1st round for 2023 Will be on is 1st Sunday in October and will be finished by mid-December.  (Winners and Runners will receive medallions).

All players need to be NNSW Futsal registered by the commencement of the competition.

This competition will look at selecting state teams during the first three rounds.

For the 2023 season, the cost is TBA.
